CRAFT COFFEE WORKSHOP (with The Manila Review)
A Homey, Creativity-inspiring Hangout for Coffee Connoisseurs, Nomad Managers & Friends :)
I first visited Craft Coffee Workshop last December 15, for the launch of The Manila Review, an independent publication that aims to promote critical thinking on today’s culture and issues, catapulted by Leloy Claudio and Mara Coson. Check it out here. Yes, December 15. Backlog, I know.

As a sucker for aesthetic (and gender neutral) rustic design and great ambiance, I instantly fell in love with the place without having sampled the coffee yet.
Spending a few days in Baguio before heading up to Kalinga on Wednesday.
Hopefully, this environment will be conducive to the brain work / creative thinking I need to get done for Punchdrunk Panda.
Somehow I don’t doubt that it will be. :D
Getting out of the city to commune with nature has been known to yield positive effects for the mind and spirit, so yeah. It’s good for people to explore new environments when they can. Which is more often than most care to admit.
Here’s the view from my office window:

This view, combined with the music Karlo is making / playing in the background equals the best workplace so far! View more pictures here. :)
[Note: I wound up staying in Baguio for over 2 weeks. Yay!]
Yeeha!
No cabin fever here,
Jen
One of the things I’ll be acquiring in the coming months to support my ideal nomadic lifestyle.
It’ll give me access to a library of books at only 8.5 ounces, and more importantly, for working on the go, it’ll give me free 3G + Wi-Fi access anywhere in the world!
It sounds too good to be true, but I double, triple, quadruple checked it and it seems to check out. This is perfect in my grand scheme of going off to random places and still be connected to my colleagues via e-mail (which is now the most crucial business tool).
Buzz says new Kindles are due to arrive by October, so I’ll definitely be watching out for it then!
(Check it out: Kindle 3G Wireless Reading Device, Free 3G Wi-Fi, 6” Display, 3G Works Globally - Latest Generation: Kindle Store)
FUN! A vintage TLR pencil sharpener!
Because I need to blog about random, not necessarily necessary things.
Check out these other nifty office accessories (which in my dreams of nomadic management are totally useless, but for now are happiness- and good vibes-inducing).

Mustachioed Glasses Holder

Turntable Tape Dispenser
